Christmas at the Paramount is presented as a Christmas gift to the Big Country by the members of First Baptist Church. Music will be presented by the Sanctuary Choir, Mixed Ensemble, Soloists, Children's Choirs, Youth Choirs, Children and Adult Handbell Choirs and Church Orchestra. The cast of characters will be made up from several members of our church and will also include many extras.

This is the story of an Abilene family who finds itself in the midst of change and the aspect of a very gloomy holiday season ahead of them. Despite grief and loneliness, renewed strength comes to them from some very unexpected places. They find the courage and hope they need to move past the hard times and rejoice in the blessings they have.

The original script was written by Todd Wilson and Elise Harden. It is highlighted by music that spans a wide variety of styles and sounds of the season. It is punctuated by its realistic and poignant story line.
